VIGILANT mentioned in Mayor.EU

VIGILANT project has been mentioned in an article published at TheMayor.eu - the European Portal for Cities and Citizens that seeks to foster the "understanding and cohesion between the citizens of the European Union, the local authorities and EU institutions".

The article, titled 5 European projects that seek to destroy disinformation emphasises the importance of countering misinformation via a range of methods and highlights five running projects funded by the EU. Except for the VIGILANT, it also mentions VERification Assisted by Artificial Intelligence (Vera.AI), European Digital Media Observatory (EDMO), Bulgarian-Romanian Observatory of Digital Media (BROD) and the European Fact-Checking Standards Network Project.
