VIGILANT was present at the Security Research Event (SRE) 2025, held on June 24–25 in Warsaw, where EU-funded initiatives came together to demonstrate how innovation can address Europe’s evolving security challenges.
VIGILANT hosted a booth in the exhibition area, engaging with policymakers, practitioners, and fellow researchers to share the project’s key insights and tools. The event brought together industry representatives, policy makers, safety and security practitioners, knowledge institutions and critical infrastructure operators discuss security threats and challenges, and how EU research and innovation can contribute to tackle them.
Reflecting the main theme of the conference, “Boosting security through EU-based innovation,” VIGILANT’s presence highlighted the need for practical tools developed through European research. Its focus on creating resources to support police as primary users attracted interest from attendees seeking effective solutions to complex security challenges.
